The island Hydra

Island Poros.
The island is famous for the lemon and pine woods about which Marc Chagall, Henry Miller and other famous writers who came back every year to this smooth water liked to wander. The island is divided into two parts: To Sfery and Klavry.
Poros is surrounded by myths, one of them was born Theseus, son of Poseidon, a hero who defeated the Minotaur. Tourists can visit the ancient temple of Poseidon.
It is worth visiting and the monastery of Our Lady of Life. It is built on a high green hill, and offers an amazing view of the sea.
